To cater increasing needs of customers, this service is currently handling round about 3,000,000 tons and is supported by several major industries in Indonesia. True to the desire to provide the best
transportation service in Indonesia our staff work with trading partners in Asia, Europe and America. Beside handling import/export goods to/from Indonesia, Chartering Division also serves cross
trade which trading is: from US West coast/US East coast - Brazil/Argentina to Iran (wheat); South Africa to China or to Europe (coal/iron/ore); India to China (iron/ore); Australia to:
Pakistan/China (iron ore/coal), Europe/China (fertilizer). These activities cover about 3/4,000.000 tons per year beside cargo to/for Indonesia.
By above activities the Chartering Division operate 8/10 vessels of Handy to Panamax size at a time.
Two Panama vessels owned, MV. GEMA LESTARI and MV. GEMA PERTIWI are fully dedicated to the Chartering Division to strengthen the capability in supporting the bulk tramp business.
A network of brokers in Singapore, Hongkong, Japan, London, Hamburg, Greece, Vancouver, Montreal and New York is combined with agents in all ports of the world, including remote places like Aqaba,
Casablanca and Kwinana providing a busy operation schedule 24 hours per day, seven days a week.
